Martin Meyer har været hos Lundbeckfonden siden 2020, hvor han blev en del af afdelingen for Uddelinger og priser. Martin er den hovedansvarlige for The Brain Prize.
Han har en bachelorgrad og ph.d. fra University College London.
Han har været involveret i neurovidenskabelig forskning inden for universitetssektoren siden 2000, først som postdoktor ved Institut for Molekylær og Cellulær Fysiologi, Stanford University (2000-2006), og derefter som gruppeleder ved King’s College London (2006-2020).
